A stone oasis inspired by the unique landscape of Lanzarote

Inspired by the essence of Lanzarote's landscape, the garden is conceived as a stone island that floats above the terrain, from which vegetation emerges. This stony materiality not only defines the garden but also extends into the interior of the house, creating a harmonious continuity that flows from the perimeter wall to the patio at the heart of the house.

The experience of the garden is perceived from the inside out, with the view from the interior spaces serving as the starting point for its design. The windows become frames that capture the landscape, while the vegetation settles into the surroundings like a living canvas, adding a touch of color to the white space of the architecture. The stone, in turn, transforms into a sinuous and dynamic element, bringing movement and fluidity to the whole.

The simplicity of the garden resonates with that of the house, evoking the island, its arid nature, and its sober, singular, and elegant culture. The goal is to generate an aesthetic emotion through just a few natural elements, creating an environment that resonates with the essence of the place.
